Maintenance of Certification
Since ABVP’s inception, we have required maintenance of certification every ten years. Before you officially start the submission process, please take a moment to review the MOC Handbook. MOC points can now be uploaded at any time! It is STRONGLY recommended that it be done throughout the year for each year of the 10-year cycle.
NEW MOC SYSTEM
New MOC System on Prolydian Announced June 2021
“The new MOC process proves ABVP listened to its Diplomates with this updated, streamlined, simpler, and much more fair way to recertify. Actually, this new platform makes it almost impossible not to maintain your specialty status with a directed focus on continued learning, self-improvement, and encouraging support of our organization. And your MOC vice-chair is there to watch, guide,
and monitor your progress along the way ensuring success!”
Anthony A. Pilny, DVM, DABVP (Avian Practice) Avian Vice Chair, Maintenance of Certification
